DoubleTree by Hilton Trieste

Oh my goodness. What an AMAZING hotel, and reception. i had my guide dog with me, and they even brought a beautiful dog bed, water bowl And tray to Our room foe my dog. Staff could not have been any more welcoming or helpful, the Customer service they Provided was exceptional. The room was large, great amenities, and the hotel Itself was beautiful. Situated centrally, and if I visit Trieste again, this is the hotel I will book for sure.

We spent 4 nights here and I highly recommend it. All the staff were fantastic, and I suggest that you go to the bar for a drink. It's an amazing room (although @Hilton please remove the television screen showing images of the bar - that's just wrong!). The rooms are stylish and comfortable, although they have a different feel depending on whether they are interior ones or have windows overlooking the street. We moved rooms, thanks to the amazing staff, to one overlooking the street. Tastes differ, but we preferred the light and life of one of those rooms, and don't mind street noise (not that there really is much).

Was a nice location, friendly attentive staff. Breakfast was the usual suspects but good with a nice selection of little pastries and cakes, too. The room had nice high ceilings and was relatively quiet, and the bed was excellent. The gym had a nice selection of workout gear. The only negative was the steep walk to the self park location, but the park was easy to locate and use. The bar is a must visit! Even if you're not staying there.

DoubleTree by Hilton Tristie is a 4* luxury hotel located in the city centre of Trieste. The building is absolutely gorgerous and it can be easily mistaken as a 5* hotel by the look of it, but just not quite yet. When arrived, we couldn't find any parking space and the space in front of the hotel was marked as bus stop so we didn't know where to park. After my partner went into the hotel to ask, we were told we could just load off our luggage in front of the hotel. The check-in was very good. Only thing was that we were not offered DoubleTree cookies. That didn't bother us and we went straight to our room. As a Hilton Honours Gold Member the team gave us an upgrade to King Corner Junior Suite, which was lovely. The beautiful room was very spacious and clean. The first impression of the hotel was great. The hotel restaurant has limited availability. We liked the hotel and wanted to book a table but was told there wasn't any availability. This was a bit disappointing as it was a special occasion for us. We went out instead and spent a good €120 for dinner. It was very unfortunate that we had some issue with the heating in our room and the room went very cold at night. The team tried their best to find the issue but couldnt resolve it so brought us some blankets instead. We also noticed in the morning that the hair conditioner and hand gel had not been topped up by housekeeper when preparing the room as they were both empty when I tried to use them. The breakfast was excellent - both selection and service. I had a good conversation with the Front Office Manager Daniele, who was very empathetic with the issues we had encountered. He took my comments on board and made me feel valued. All in all, a beautiful hotel that has good potential to be one of the best in Trieste. I would definitely choose to stay in this property if I visit Tristie or nearby area again!

Impeccable! All aspects of our stay were flawless. Service is friendly and super efficient. The hotel itself blends rich heritage of the building with contemporary room design. It's right in the centre of the city, 10 min walk maximum to all Trieste sights. Our suite was well appointed, fresh and super clean. Breakfast choice is great and the quality of food is top notch. Will definitely come back again!
